One great we love giving is challenging your comfort zone.
Everyone loves giving it, but, no one actually does it.
Because challenging your comfort zone puts you in a lot of social negative consequences.
Usually, it’s better to turn off your brain and just do everything else everyone is doing. This is much more easier and recommended.
When you do challenge your comfort zone, what happens?
People gossip. People say bad things about you. You feel slightly bad. Heck, you even feel bad for trying. But, wait a minute everyone is saying challenge your comfort zone.
So what gives?
Challenging your comfort zone while technically is THE RIGHT ANSWER you have to be very careful with this.
If you challenge your comfort zone in social situations your “status” or perceived “value” among the group is a risk.
Which is why we have the “better play safe” instinct. We always stick to playing it safe.
When I was young hero always inspiring to improve and grow and become my greatest version. I wanted to do EVERYTHING. I wanted to see high I can become. My dream was always to evolve wayyy past my limitations. Something like of a super hero.
Try challenging your comfort zone in social situations and you will see real quick there are consequences to pay.
There are always consequences.
Look, challenging your comfort zone is the answer. And it is very encouraged.
But, it’s better to do in private. Challenge your comfort zone with no around. Challenge yourself in your personal comfort. So when you do go out and challenge your “comfort zone” it’s much much more easier.
The same people that they tell you to challenge your comfort zone usually are not the ones to challenge their own comfort zones either.
Because in the social game every negative event lowers people’s perception of you. The more mistakes you make the less valuable and less important you become to the other people’s.
For sure challenge your comfort zone. But, do it in, your own comfort zone.
Usually, the cost of trying something new is way too high and never worth the risk. Practice home. Practice what you want to say. Practice your thoughts.
But challenge your comfort zone.
Very not recommended.
People will talk and your perception in their mind’s will drop. You become less likable and people will want to socialize with you less.
In short, practice challenging your comfort zone in your own comfort.
