A lot of times we take things personally when most of the time it has nothing to do with us or what we are saying or doing.

A lot of the the times it has to do with how people are reacting to us depending on multiple conditions.

Their state will determine how they perceive you at any given moment.

For example, if someone just lost a million dollars, and you try telling them a joke instead of responding in a funny manner they make just respond in a flat response.

Because, their currently reality is “I am broke,” so when you try to tell them a joke it will have no effect.

To make it more complex, sometimes a joke will be exactly what that person needs to break their state. 

It may or not work. 

Life has multiple thousands of variables playing out by the SECOND.

Everything we think is true, can be true for a moment, then gets updated. 

Then we interact with other people some people may not agree with what you have to say.

Which is also filtered by their childhood, environment, parents, income levels, belief systems, etc.

So no matter what you tell someone it gets processed by how they view themselves, the universe, and their own personal belief system.

Which sometimes can be called filters or their own inner biases.

And when you cross the line on their  filters, beliefs, and biases you may trigger someone.

Because, that’s a deep part of how they view themselves and reality.

So, always keep in mind how someone receives you has a lot more to do with whatever they are going through in that moment, day, year, whatever.

If you were to tell a joke to your friend, and they don’t laugh.

Maybe, the joke wasn’t funny.

Maybe they just weren’t in the right mood or state of mind.

Life is full of variables. 

And making the “right decisions” in life is all about the timing of when we make certain choices.

It has less to do with the knowledge of how much information we have collected. Which is great, but, without knowing when to use the right information, it can be rather pointless. I am all about collecting wisdom and knowledge, but the TIMING of your choices determines more what kind of RESULTS you get in your reality.

So when in doubt remember how most people react to you has to do with their own inner world and 1000s of other other conditions you have no idea about.

Do make note, at times the universe reveals us clues about what we personally need to improve on through the feedback of interacting with other people. Yet, be careful, to over analyze every little encounter. If you overthink it, you may blame yourself for something that is not your fault, but is the fault of someone and their problems.

But, do keep in mind, if you are running the same script over and over, maybe it’s time to reflect, and say okay what is it about me that is creating these reactions out of people.
