We as a human species all share the same desires, fears, hopes, dreams, etc for the most part.

It is also true, we are similar in plenty of ways as well.

The ultimate hack to cure separation anxiety is to avoid looking at anything outside of yourself as different than yourself.

Find ways, you and that thing are more alike than not alike.

And we have humans have plenty of things in common: we eat, breathe, sleep, work, etc…

What changes is our individual expression of self which is unique to each and every one of us.

However, if you feel distant from other people try to avoid seeing other people as different or better than yourself.

Find ways you can relate to that person.

If you are looking at other people as different than yourself than of course you will create anxieties and distance between you and other people.

Instead avoid seeing others as different, better, worse, etc.

When you see others as being like yourself you will feel right at home anywhere you go.

Despite how different or “weird” you may be you can always see how you and the other person have some things in common.

Find those things, because those will create a mutual feeling of connection, rapport, and bond.

We humans crave for belonging and separation is the equivalent of death.

To see a thing as different from yourself may cause you to feel out of place, a lack of belonging.

This doesn’t mean you and everyone will be best friends, but, you can learn to connect with more people by looking through life of how me and that thing are more the same than different.

A lot of times when we speak to other people we say very much the same thing we are just using different language to express; usually the meaning is roughly the same.

By adapting this mind of how me and that thing is the same you can remove the distance of you and that thing.
