Social media is taking over the world, let’s face it.

Instead of talking to your fellow man on in real life we are interacting with people online or better stated they “idea” of other person online.

Nowadays, most people conduct their social business over the media with other people who are doing the same as well.

It is very easy to setup an online profile and reach hundreds, thousands, if not even more.

There is obvious advantages to this you can now reach and help more people over the web than you could ever in person.

But, what about those people in real life. Are those people even who they try to be over the web?

Most likely not, most people over the web are displaying their best selves.

Which is nothing wrong with this as this is standard business practice.

But, the issue is, many people believe the lies that these people are really who they  show themselves to be online.

The internet is nothing more than my fake persona vs your fake persona.

It is hardly ever what you think it really is.

Of course, nothing wrong with this once more.

Just be careful of believing the wrong people because anyone can act a certain way for a brief period of time on their favorite social media platform.

However, once you meet them in real life you start to wonder, where is the person, where is the persona at?

Only to realize you bought into an illusion or the mask of what people want you to believe they are.

We live in the world of illusions and everything you see is just an idea that  others hope you get suckered into.

To even make it worse, because everything is digital today, people are suffering from major social anxieties more than ever before.

In the past, people use to talk to other people and look forward to making human connection with real people.

But, today not only is it easier, but it is arguable better to conduct business online.

What does this say about the human spirit? Should we just accept the fake digital world and compete on a global masses as to whose illusion is best?

Or, should we integrate social media while still keep the human spirit intact.

Social media and the internet is great.

Like all tools they can be a benefit, but we  cannot allow ourselves to be used by the tools that we are using.

The internet and social media has great benefits because you can reach out to millions and billions of people around the world.

But, there are some negatives to it…

People sell an idea of themselves online so other people can believe the lie they promote.

People are using social media as a tool to promote their agendas no different than the government and politics.

We have to be careful and mindful with the way we use our technology because in the wrong hands these same tools and technology can lead  to the demise of society.

The ends of time.
