Not every day is a home-run.

Some days are slow and and trivial.

You can see that is a part of the daily grind.

Some days are just another day with nothing special about it other than just to get to the next day.

People have a tendency to chase the special because that is the goal.

The goal of getting more home-runs and more wins.

Although, the winners in life are people who show up everyday as opposed to people who get a few home-runs here and there.

The hardest thing you can do is make effort consistently because to be consistent is to challenge yourself even when it’s boring and even when you are not in the mood for it.

It’s rather easy to ride the momentum when things go well.

While this is not to say don’t go after those big wins, it is to say remember consistent effort is far better than a few home runs occasionally.

Accomplishing goals on a logical level is very simple. Pick a goal and align your habits to match your desires.

But, what happens on a daily basis?

People lose motivation. The emotional spikes decline. We lose momentum.

Always be aiming high and be practical about what occurs on a daily basis.

Not every single day will be that euphoric high that makes life just feel so good.

If you can get yourself centered and well grounded while pursuing your goals you can accomplish goal easily.

Simply, pick a goal and control your emotional states.

With the right habits it is very easy to get what you want.

There is no logical reason why you cannot get what you want.

But, it’s never logic that stops us.

It is emotions, motivation, etc.

What to do if you are just not feeling it anymore and you feel overwhelmed?

There is a point in time when you may lose motivation and in which case remind yourself why you are doing it for.

If you are really unmotivated take a break and come back to it later when inspiration kicks in.

If you want to avoid this issue create a plan of action daily.

But, this lies in another problem.

What if you lack the motivation to even follow up with your plans? What if you stop feeling motivated?

This is when a recovery period is important. If you are working in a state of resistance it won’t feel right. Even if you do push through it usually doesn’t work very well.

This is when taking a break and getting yourself aligned.

Sometimes just get your mind on something else recharges your will.

Ideally, your goal naturally inspires you. Ideally, your work naturally inspires you.

If your goals doesn’t motivate or inspire you then you have to question that.

Why are you not motivated to do something you want to do?

In life you have to remember it’s not the big wins daily that matters it’s the consistent wins daily that yields the biggest results.

People often forget that when they chasing whatever it is they are chasing.
