People have ideas and beliefs in mind that existed for years.
They have no idea how and why it’s there only that they believe it to be true. Yet, if they were to challenge that idea of why they think it’s true it would be a difficult one to justify.
We humans are not logical creatures, we are more social packed species that work together in groups. We have social instincts that help us know how to behave in social situations, and what to avoid. If we didn’t have this then you can walk up to anyone at any time with no problems. Most conversations we have are not logical, they are for the sake of the experience.
The problem today is we have a big society. And what is true among certain people may not be true for others. That’s why you should always meet others where they are in their journey.
The problem we may encounter if we are having issues socializing with other people is the idea of things “should” go. There is a right and a wrong way to be.
And, yet who makes these rules? These rules are purely subjective, and more personal. It’s also based on how we feel what is true.
Socializing is really to be fun, an experience, it is hardly ever a logical debate.
You likely have tried certain things in the past that felt right in the moment, and backfired miserably.
This is proof of having an idea of something should go, but, didn’t go quite as planned.
People have to realize people are the way they are.
Life is simply the way it is.
While it is true, you can figure out as much as possible in one lifetime, you will most likely get to a point where you know all the answers to life.
I also do want to mention life does have general principles that are universal truths. And these truths become a sort of truthism, something we all feel is true when we hear it. Like treat people the way you want to be treated. Help thy neighbor. Be polite. Be professional.
When things are not working the way we expect we have to either change our expectations(or lower them) and or change what we are doing to get different results.
Some people try things and blame others for why things didn’t work. These people love to make excuses and blame others for their shortcomings.
But, what they fail to realize is life is not logical. Life never goes as planned. Life is not something that SHOULD go a certain way. And if it doesn’t go a certain way then everything is wrong. This person or that person is wrong. Usually, they avoid blaming themselves for their wrong doings because making mistakes feels BAD. And to admit you made a mistake is a very humbling and for most is worse than death.
Life does have patterns that are true. But, we have to let go of the ideas that life is supposed to go a certain. Life should a certain way based on how we are thinking and feeling at any given moment.
The only thing we can do is try something and then try another thing and see what works. Your feedback with the universe will you figure things out.
Your actions, and how the universe reacts to you is how you should determine how life works.
And even then life has way too many variables to even determine what’s what.
