So many people hold on to their victim mentality because this is a form of protection.
They are protecting themselves and avoiding putting the blame into their own life.
You can typically find this with little kids.
Adults usually take responsibilities for their lives.
But, sometimes, adults have a tendency to blame society, the world, life, other people, the government, etc. for their problems.
But happiness is internal, and cannot be found externally outside of yourself.
You must be happy with yourself.
Sometimes the truth is too much to face, so people bury the truth so deep down like a serial killer hiding the bodies of their victims.
But, whose responsibility is our life, but our own?
We are the creators of our own reality and we are creating the story internally.
No one else is doing that, but us.
Which means, there is really no such as things as victims (excluding abuse).
There are only excuses people come up to save their skins because they don’t want to face reality.
And you know what sometimes the dragon is too much to face, so you have to go the other way, and try some other time when you are more ready.
Nothing wrong this.
There are plenty of demons that are just too strong to face, especially all at once.
This is the problem with “face the fear” and do it anyways.
Sometimes you are just not ready and need more time to prepare to face your demons.
And then there are times when you do just need to step up and rise to the occasion.
Our reality is created by the very thoughts inside our own heads.
And sometimes, people who are in victim consciousness will blame others for their weaknesses and flaws, because they don’t want to own their imperfections.
Listen life is tough, we all know this, we are all going through this ride together.
But, just because it’s tough and rough doesn’t mean you have to stay in that hell.
You can live your entire life pointing fingers in all types of directions or you can point it at yourself, and say enough is enough.
I am going to my life. I am tired of my excuses. I am tired of ruining my relationships. I am tired of my weaknesses. I am tired of not feeling good enough. I am tired of all the time I’ve wasted.
Once you realize you have been the actor and director of your life this entire time, this can be brutally hard on the ego in the beginning.
Because, it means all those years. All those problems, were really you this entire time.
But, you just kept running away from the fact that it was never other people it was you this entire time.
But, you know something! This puts all the power back into your life. Not any where else. You still have plenty of time to create the life you want, the relationships you want, the lifestyle you want, etc.
But so long as you keep holding onto those excuses, stories, blame, you will forever keep replaying the same story over and over.
And I feel bad for many of you, but at some point you have to grow up and OWN your LIFE!
Listen we all have our stories. We all have our sufferings. We all been through traumas. We all had terrible people in our lives.
Just know no one is keeping you stuck.
It’s been you this entire time.
You are the star, and director.
And you have the power to change course NOW!
