Life is the human experience.

No matter what area you are in life you are dealing with people.

Your job is to make others happy and satisfy their needs and wants through your work.

Other people determine if you have something of value or not.

You cannot make people like what you are offering you can only change their perception and value what you are offering a lot more.

This is called demonstrating value which is essentially showing others why they should about what you are doing.

People want what they want.

Your job is not to convince them to want what you are offering.

Your job is to simply give them what they want.

Doing this is a lot easier.

This of course does not mean you cannot change their minds, but it is to say, giving them what they want is just a whole lot easier.

People will always value the ideas in their heads more than yours.

People are emotionally attached to their desires.

And anything we could potentially do is filtered through their own subjective perspective and filters.

Which is why telling people why they should what you are offering is a complete waste of time.

Most people don’t understand what you are selling or offering.

Usually, if they could they would be the high quality buyers that will buy without needing to be convinced.

People who don’t understand what you are offering or selling will usually require convincing because they don’t know you or your products and services.

Most people assume people should just understand.

But, this is a big mistake because no one will understand unless you explain what is you are doing or why it is important.

Everyone is on their favorite channel called what’s in it for me, like it or not.

That is the way the world works.

People are focused on themselves more than anything out there and even when they are doing it out their it is for a reason they want.

Which is also why trying to change people is a waste of time.

The people who want change will change on their own.

And forcing people to change never works and even if it does people will hate you for it as opposed to appreciate you for it.

That is one thing many people do which is trying to change others but of course they don’t like to change themselves.

Whatever area you are in it will helpful to understand human desires-motivations-decision making because it will help you give them more of what they want and in return you will get more of what you want.

There is a golden rule in business is that the customer is always right.

Why is this true? Because they are the ones paying.

If they are going to invest money in whatever you are selling or doing it has to come from their mind that should want to invest in what you are doing(or you).
